JOB DESCRIPTION Senior Accountant (Accountant II) – High-Impact Role with Growth and Visibility Salary: $90K - $100K/year + 10% bonus About the Company and Opportunity: • This role supports a group of dynamic businesses operating in a fast-paced, essential industry. • Direct exposure to senior leadership and a key contributor to monthly and quarterly reporting. • Broad scope of work across general ledger accounting, tax compliance, and treasury support. • Opportunity to take ownership of financial close, tax filings, and fixed asset reconciliations. • You’ll work closely with a supportive manager and collaborate with a close-knit team that values efficiency and professional development. • Gain experience with systems such as Dynamics GP and other cloud-based ERP platforms. Overview of the Senior Accountant role: • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting analysis for month-end close • Assist in preparing financial statements and managing audit requests • Manage or support sales/use and property tax filings and ensure compliance • Maintain fixed asset schedules and perform related reconciliations • Document accounting cycles and implement best practices for process improvement Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant role: • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience (public and/or private) • Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls • Experience with Dynamics GP or cloud-based ERP systems preferred • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency #ZRCFS #INAUG2025 #LI-SH2 #SeniorAccountant #SeniorAccountingJobs #HoustonJobs #AccountingJobs
