Job description

We are looking for a skilled, degreed Accountant to join our accounting department to support our growth. Primary responsibilities include learning and supporting the A/R and A/P processes, maintaining financial records and reporting, performing account reconciliations, participating in continuous improvement efforts, and more. Reporting directly to the Controller, this position affords great visibility throughout the company and provides the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of accounting and finance activities. To be successful in this role, you should be able to manage multiple priorities and timelines as well as apply good judgement to accurately produce and maintain general ledger accounts and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). An outstanding Accountant should also have excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Responsibilities • Support end to end Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes. • Support with Month End closing. • Meet processing and reporting deadlines. • Respond to information requests and assist with analysis. • Ensuring compliance with GAAP. • Prepare financial reporting for internal purposes as needed. • Assist with other financial requirements as needed including becoming a critical backup to other accounting staff members and participating in continuous improvement efforts. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in accounting required. • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Working knowledge of GAAP. • Strong organizational and analytical skills. • Proficiency with Excel. • Good problem-solving and time management skills including proven ability to manage multiple projects and regular, time sensitive tasks simultaneously.
