Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity within our Finance team at DTN! We are seeking a Senior Accountant – Cash who will manage and provide support for current and future financial planning, revenue forecasting, and financial analysis. This is a new position based in our hub in Manilla.

About the role:

As our Senior Accountant - Revenue, you will collaborate with the Finance team on activities and will own and be responsible for managing and enhancing reporting systems to produce information for cash accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and transactions.

What you will be responsible for:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end close processes as detailed below:

• Assist teams with month-end closing procedures.

• Reconcile clients’ bank accounts.

• Prepare required journal entries, including but not limited to cash, payroll, depreciation, and expensing of prepaid items.

• Review and process different types of bank transactions such as payments, wires, ACH, and credit card payments, research variances, and reconcile GL activity to the bank statement.

• Prepare and maintain supporting schedules and reconciliations of cash accounts globally across multiple companies and currencies.

• Can communicate with multiple teams within the company and address questions as well as cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives and providing strategic financial advice to support their growth and success.

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

• Performs consistent self-review to ensure accuracy of work.

• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance efficiency, and improve accuracy through automation and best practices.

• Ability to handle multiple priorities and ad hoc projects from leaders.

What you will bring to the role:

• Experience in public accounting preferred.

• Demonstrated working knowledge of accounting systems including Excel, SAP, Workday and other accounting ERP software preferred.

• Demonstrated working knowledge of cash reconciliations, cash applications and managing multiple cash accounts globally and in different currencies.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively when building and maintaining client relationships.

• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.

• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.

• Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a matrixed environment.

• Multi-currency experience.

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between 525,000 PHP and 75000PHP. DTN is a pay-for-performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity, and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market-competitive variable pay and benefits.
