Senior Accountant, Consolidations

The Finance Team includes Finance Business Partnership, Accounting, Finance Operations, Financial Systems, Internal Audit, Tax, Treasury, and Investor Relations teams. Together, the team partners with leadership to provide insights, information, and guidance to make strategic and operational decisions, inform investors about our business model and progress, and ensure the company is financially healthy and consistently meeting our reporting obligations.

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant - Consolidations to join our Consolidation team supporting the close process with responsibility for preparing transfer pricing journal entries, intercompany interest schedules, allocations, reconciliations, eliminations, revaluation and other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, audit accounting concepts, and the monthly consolidation process.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations, with an emphasis on global intercompany processes

• Play a key role in the monthly close and elimination/consolidation process

• Perform monthly analytical review of Balance Sheet and P&L accounts

• Drive continued process improvement, including working cross-functionally, to create repeatable, consistent best practices that enable scale

• Ownership of other functional GL areas as needed 

• Handle special projects as identified

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Exceptional analytical and Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLookUps, etc.

• Strong Accounting knowledge with an understanding of US GAAP

• Ability to work under pressure and perform several tasks concurrently in a deadline driven environment

• Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills, and superior attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization

• A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to multi-task, think creatively, and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

• Detail-oriented with a high sense of urgency

• Exceptional organizational skills

• Strong work ethic with the ability to work extended hours during critical periods

• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team

• Experience/understanding of foreign currency and inter-company relationship and implications.

• Detail oriented with the ability to solve problems quickly

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience required

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in mid/large size, multi-national or fast-growing companies

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA License, or in progress

• 3+ years experience working in cloud finance systems (Oracle preferred)
