Pager is looking for a motivated team player to help build and drive accounting processes that will scale our organization and support our growth goals. What You'll Do:Â
- Become the expert for all the company's expenses; responsible for the preparation and oversight of all items related to expenses including the month-end close process, associated balance sheet account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and related reporting and disclosureÂ
- Maintain fixed assets, including capitalized software, on an ongoing basis, including tracking work-in-process assets, maintaining capital expenditure spreadsheets, processing asset sales/retirements, communicating with operations managers to ensure asset listings are complete, and recording depreciation/amortization expenseÂ
- Drive insightful and actionable analytics; tracking expenses, analyzing month-over-month variances, and communicating anomalies to leadership for follow upÂ
- Own primary financial communications by managing the Finance inboxÂ
- Lead year-end audit requests related to expenses Â
- Oversee and participate in the processing of accounts payableÂ
- Support the administration of expense reimbursement system Â
- Build weekly cash reporting to assist in cash flow projectionsÂ
- Prepare monthly sale/use/excise tax report(s) and annual 1099s for reportingÂ
- Enhance process documents for all related processes, policies and proceduresÂ
- Ensure accurate and timely transaction processing, accounting & reporting in accordance with policies and US GAAPÂ Â
- Assist in database maintenance and validationsÂ
- Apply technical accounting requirements for expense related items to company-specific situationsÂ
- Lead operational improvement initiatives to further streamline tasks and shorten the expense close calendarÂ
You're a good fit if you are/have:Â
- 4+ years experience accounting/financial management procedures and principlesÂ
- Bachelors Degree in business/accounting or related Â
- Advanced Excel, presentation building, and communication skillsÂ
- Meticulous attention to detail; deriving immense satisfaction from solving and automating complex problems Â
- Track record of cross-functional collaboration, putting ideas into practice, and assessing resultsÂ
- Proactive, self-starter that thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with continuous follow throughÂ
- Excellent at translating financial analytics into actionable solutions that drive exponential change in alignment with corporate goals Â
- Experience in quantitatively diagnosing financial issues and implementing solutionsÂ
- Experience with online integrated accounting systems, data management tools and business software applicationsÂ
It would be great if you:Â
- Are a CPA or on a CPA trackÂ
- Have experience with Sage IntacctÂ
- Master time management; show ability to organize work and handle multiple projectsÂ
- Exhibit effective written and verbal communication skillsÂ
- Display grit, reliability, dependability, and flexibilityÂ
- Thrive on enhancing processes that drive automation or show proven efficienciesÂ
- Acquired experience with the healthcare or tech industries and/or exposure to executive leadershipÂ
For Colorado, Nevada, and New York-based employment: In accordance with the Pay Transparency laws the pay range for this position is $87,300 to $110,000. The compensation package may include stock options, plus a range of medical, dental, vision, financial, generous PTO, stipends for professional development, and wellness benefits.  Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. The range listed only applies to Colorado, Nevada, and New York.
