The Senior Accountant, General Ledger is an autonomous role with the opportunity to impact our teams through your attention to detail and meticulous execution. Using your knowledge of journal entries and chart of accounts, you’ll take ownership and leadership of our ledger. You’ll leverage your accounting expertise to drive change and improvement in the organization in order to cement our place as one of the top digital product consultancies in the world.  

• Ownership and guidance of our general ledger, including fixed asset management 
• Collaboratively partner with fellow accounting partners to prepare journal entry allocations and subledger entries
• A key contributor to our annual audit preparation
• Perform and review monthly account reconciliations by investigating unreconciled balances or variances between our general ledger and source documents
• Consistently involved in raising ideas and solutions for process improvements and documentation practices
• Ensure SOX compliance by adhering to internal controls and requirements
• Maintaining accurate and updated documentation while providing recommendations for appropriate preparation, analysis, and interpretation of financial results

• 4+ years of professional accounting experience
• Expertise with General Ledger accounting and maintenance, including deferred and accrued accounts
• Expertise/knowledge of general ledger software and Microsoft Excel
• Displays high levels of partnership in team environments
• Proven track record of collaborating with clients and/or cross-disciplinary stakeholders effectively
• Understanding of GAAP and/or IFRS, keeping up with trends, changes, and knowledge of accounting best practices
• Familiarity with financial audits or reviews

• Experience with Financial Force and Workday
• Expertise creating ad-hoc reports
• Experience with the preparation of monthly financial statements
• Experience with cash flow analysis
• Degree in Accounting/Finance or CPA
