Senior Accountant - Hybrid

The role of the Senior Accountant will be to perform the analysis and reporting of financial results for the eviCore business operations. The individual should be results-oriented & enjoys working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with audit and regulatory reporting and requirements, operational reporting to clients and internal business owners, as well as ad hoc reporting and process improvement project management
• Work closely with our Healthcare Economics team, Informatics, and Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse to analyze and reconcile key financial reporting measurements
• Analyze and record capitated contracts, including IBNR reserves setting, revenue recognition, membership eligibility reconciliation, and claims analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit or related field; CPA preferred
• 4+ years' corporate accounting experience
• Strong proficiency in general ledger accounting, full month-end close, journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation
• Managed care, insurance, or healthcare payor experience preferred
• Excel experience; Great Plains and SQL experience a plus
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience with lag models, IBNR calculations preferred
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills & strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
