A Day in the Life of the Senior Accountant
In this role, youβll take ownership of monthly and quarterly financial closings, deliver accurate financial reporting, and maintain strong internal controls that align with luxury industry standards. You'll collaborate across departments to deliver financial insights, manage NetSuite processes, and ensure global accounting practices stay aligned and compliant.
Responsibilities include:
β’ Leading month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
β’ Preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
β’ Ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal controls
β’ Creating and analyzing financial reports to support strategic decision-making
β’ Managing and optimizing NetSuite financial operations
β’ Handling international accounting, consolidations, and currency conversions
β’ Partnering with cross-functional teams to share financial insights
β’ Assisting with audit preparation and resolving any discrepancies
Requirements and Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Accounting
β’ 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
β’ Experience managing the full cycle of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
β’ Public Accounting experience is a plus
β’ Hands-on experience with NetSuite and strong Excel skills
β’ Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
β’ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
