Senior Accountant - Operations

The Role

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks within the accounting and finance process. This includes ensuring accurate financial data, reconciling balances, account analysis, and supporting operations.

Key Responsibilities • Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data• Assist in month-end and year-end close procedures• Perform financial statement account analysis and review• Help with the implementation and refinement of accounting processes• Work with the company's outside accounting firm on tax filings and its annual audit• Assist in the conversion from QuickBooks to Oracle NetSuite

Requirements

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance
• 3+ years' experience in an accounting role
• Ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple responsibilities

• 1-2 years of supervisory experience
• Experience at a CPG or Food/Beverage Company a plus
• Ability to think cross-functionality, join data from various sources, and develop solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent collaborator and relationship builder; internal and external
• Excellent planning, root cause analysis/problem-solving, and organizational skills
