As the Procure to Pay Senior Accountant you will perform important accounting functions for our domestic and international operations. You will also collaborate directly with customers, operations managers, and account managers to create procurement solutions that meet service and cost expectations. What you'll do on a typical day:

• Develop and maintain end user training materials for Oracle Cloud Procurement and Payable modules
• Conduct monthly end user training sessions
• Hold regular office hours for end users who require assistance with purchase requisition entry, change orders, receipt entry, invoice coding or invoice approval
• Assist the Procure to Pay tactical team with exception resolution
• Address and resolve issues submitted to the purchasing support mailbox
• Drive NO PO NO PAY policy adherence
• Support requests for ad hoc P2P transaction analyses
• Ensure departmental records are maintained in accordance with established policies, procedures, and audit guidelines

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• 2 years of accounting or financial reporting experience
• Solid math aptitude
• Solid experience with and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Access)

It'd be great if you also have:

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
• CPA certification
• 3 or more years of accounting or financial reporting experience, preferably with a Big Four accounting firm
• Self-motivated work style; experience working well with minimal direct supervision or in a team environment; comfortable consulting with team members and management as needed
• Solid interpersonal, organizational, multitasking, and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working independently under tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
