Senior Accounting Analyst

We are currenlty seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst - Global Accounting & Close team. The preference for this role is hybrid/mobile tied to our Cranberry Township, PA HQ location, however we will consider US and non-US Remote candidates.

Your Day to Day:

• Support closing administration functions by preparing journal entries, cost distributions and assuring timely completion to journal entry closing check lists for Global Accounting & Close organization.
• Support Lead Accountant and Accounting Manager with the preparation of closing checklist in Blackline and accounting calendar.
• Support legacy Non-SAP entity's trial balance feeds from non-US locations into SAP including mapping of legacy accounts. Provide advice to non-complex accounting and non-accounting questions/concerns from locations. Prepare ad-hoc reports for these Non-SAP entities.
• Prepare and/or review Blackline account reconciliations and journal entries for accounts under Global Accounting & Close organization
• Responsible for performing and documenting internal controls outlined by Internal Audit and SOX organization.
• Support the external audit activities ensuring the integrity and timeliness of deliverables to the auditor.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements in existing business practices and create standard operating procedures documentation for account reconciliations and journal entries performed globally.
• Assist as requested in other financial and accounting activities as determined by the Accounting Manager and/or VP of Global Accounting.
• Perform ad hoc requests to meet deliverable requirements for the Global Accounting & Close organization.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of US GAAP
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Finance or Accounting role.
• CPA or equivalent desirable.
• Experience with SAP ERP, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP Business Planning and Consolidation, Excel macros and Pivot Tables, and Blackline highly desirable.
