Senior Accounting Analyst

Signifyd seeks a passionate, experienced Accounting Analyst to join our Finance Team. As an Accounting Analyst, you will have important interactions with our customers, vendors, and employees. You will perform critical functions that others rely on. You will find excitement and satisfaction as you see how your work helps the company grow. You will also have the ability to expand your knowledge and career as Signifyd expands internationally and faces more and more complex accounting issues. This role will report to our Corporate Controller. 

Primary Responsibilities

• Help prepare internal financial reports and analysis to be discussed with the CFO and other members of the executive management team
• Understand and document accounting data flows throughout the company
• Create reports in Looker
• Perform reconciliations between multiple internal systems
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations
• Perform accounting duties as assigned
• Participate in the monthly/quarterly and annual close process to help ensure the Company’s financial statements are accurate and timely  
• Calculate service revenues and associated costs
• Prepare and analyze operational reports
• Review new contracts and verify that revenue and cost calculations are accurate
• Analyze gross margin by customer by month

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in accounting required
• 5 years of experience with a reporting tool like Looker or Tableau required
• 5 years of experience with data analytics, data mining, and database structure required
• Experience with SQL preferred
• Experience with NetSuite required
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, sumifs, and vlookups
• Positive attitude with a willingness to continually evaluate and improve processes
