This role is a key leadership position within a fast-growing global finance organization operating in a dynamic, fully remote environment. The Senior Accounting Manager will oversee complex accounting operations across multiple areas including general ledger, fixed assets, leases, accruals, equity, and intercompany eliminations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and strong internal controls across reporting cycles. You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as finance, FP&A, audit, and operations, contributing to monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. The role requires strong technical accounting expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment. It is ideal for someone who thrives in hands-on problem solving while also driving process improvement and financial integrity at scale.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead and execute end-to-end accounting operations across general ledger activities including fixed assets, leases, accruals, prepaids, equity, intercompany eliminations, and capitalized software.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial records by reviewing reconciliations, journal entries, invoices, and supporting documentation in alignment with accounting standards and SOX requirements.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including variance analysis and preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external audit teams, supporting audit requests and ensuring timely resolution of findings.
  • Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and operational processes while identifying opportunities for efficiency and automation.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including finance, FP&A, and business units to ensure consistent financial reporting and process alignment.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree or CPA preferred.
    • 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting, ideally within a public company or shared services environment.
    • Strong expertise in US GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting processes.
    • Proven experience in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, month-end close, and complex accounting treatments.
    • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
    • Strong leadership experience with the ability to manage stakeholders, influence decisions, and guide cross-functional collaboration.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite; experience with SmartView or FloQast is a plus.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
    • Benefits:

      • Fully remote work setup with flexibility.
      • Competitive annual compensation aligned with experience and market benchmarks.
      • Comprehensive medical insurance coverage.
      • Accident insurance and retirement benefits.
      • Paid holidays, flexible leave policies, and wellness programs.
      • Paid parental leave and additional employee support programs.
      • Opportunities for professional growth in a global, high-impact finance organization.
