Senior Accounting Manager

We are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager with knowledge of inventory/e-commerce business to manage  all e-commerce related accounting matters, including related revenue, COGS and inventory, and ensure recording, tracking, and analyzing financial results of e-comm activities for all subsidiaries. This is a contract role that will help streamline our inventory/e-commerce process. 

The Accounting Manager will report to the Director of Accounting. 

A day in the life of our Sr. Accounting Manager:

• Oversee accounting for both O&O distribution operations and 3PL providers.

• Ensure accurate reporting of all e-comm related financial statement items for month end, including providing sufficiently detailed explanations to the leadership team and investigating any issues.

• Implement process improvements to allow the business to grow globally.

• Implement best practice inventory controls and procedures for SOX compliance (physical counts, year end procedures, etc), and ensure understanding across all locations.

• Develop a long-term strategy to match accounting needs with operational expansion both domestically and internationally.

• Create comprehensive documentation of all accounting procedures related to ecomm/inventory, including any related transactions in the accounting software from both manual and automated systems.

• Maintain all balance sheet reconciliations for inventory balances.

• Support quarterly reporting requirements to Sony and audit requests.

About You

• 8+ years of accounting experience, with a mix of public accounting and industry.

•  Experience in an E-commerce inventory environment.

• CPA License

• Experience in mid- to large-size companies.
