What You’ll Do

We are seeking a mission-driven Senior Accounting Manager to join our growing Finance team. Reporting to our VP of Finance, you will collaborate across the organization and lead our financial accounting and tax efforts. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills and has demonstrated success in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Own the day-to-day accounting activities including the month-end financial close process, order to cash processing, invoicing and cash flow forecasting for our US legal entity
• Prepare accurate consolidated financial reporting and related journal entries for our US and foreign legal entities collaborating with our foreign accounting team 
• Drive the annual audit process, including coordination with external stakeholders and providing information for the preparation of schedules and filings
• Ensure tax compliance by preparing the proper sales tax invoicing and reporting in the related system for our state level tax requirements
• Assist the VP of Finance in in preparing and coordinating the annual budget by providing relevant vendor and headcount spend information and producing variance to budget reporting for P&L owners
• Collaborate with AP, AR, and Payroll functions for all related transactions
• Provide support to other departments as needed on financial matters
• Work on special projects and ad hoc analysis for the VP of Finance

Who You Are

• 5-7+ years of accounting experience, preferably across both a national CPA firm and in-house at a company
• 3+ years of experience with preparation and consolidation of financial statements, including managing an annual audit
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• Resourceful with high attention to detail and accuracy as well as sense of ownership
• Comfortable building processes from scratch and building the plane while flying it
• Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, QuickBooks or other ERP systems like Netsuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics 
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA preferred or currently pursuing
