Fast paced company is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to oversee contracts, month-end close, and statutory reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the year-end financial reporting including the compilation of the annual STAT report, audited GAAP financial statements and other BOD materials.
• Manage month-end close process for business, including journal entries, reconciliations, analytics, US GAAP and statutory insurance reporting.
• Supervise and coach junior staff members.

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, or related field.
• 10-12 total years of accounting experience
• 4-8 years specifically in the insurance industry
• 3+ years managing a team
• Experience with Property & Casualty is required .
