Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst

Ibotta is seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. This role promotes and demonstrates a commitment to quality and timely processing of all Accounts Receivable tasks, working to ensure prompt and accurate billing, collections and cash applications to minimize billing errors and collections.

This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position, requiring 2 days in office. Preferred in-office hybrid days are Tuesday and Thursday. Candidates must live in the United States.

What you will be doing:

• Actively pursue delinquent customer accounts 

• Ability to manage more complex clients and invoicing processes 

• Reconcile account balances and deferred revenue 

• Provide support relating to customer billing and account balances

• Streamline, automate, and instill best practices in billing and cash receipts process

• Run weekly AR reports and provide input regarding collection status and help with forecasting cash collections, 

• Support the AR Specialist with troubleshooting issues that arise in the invoicing process

• Work with internal departments to research issues, and provide support

• Assist with compiling information for auditors.

What we are looking for: 

• 5+ years of accounting or billing experience

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of related education and experience

• Technical Skills: G Suite, Advanced Excel proficiency

• Strong customer service, data entry, and organizational skills.

• Ability to adapt to changing processes and to identify areas of process improvement

• Capability to perform multiple tasks with changing priorities and to follow through to completion on all assignments.

Additional Details:

• This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, 401k match, and equity. Denver office perks include paid parking, bagel Thursdays, snacks

  and occasional meals.

• Base compensation range: $55,000 - $75,000. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience. Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component in addition to base salary.
