Where You'll Come InWeâre looking for a Senior Acquisition Associate, CRM to help us improve the end-to-end process behind how we communicate with our Leads (cart abandoners). Your job will be to assist in the day-to-day production and deployment of many direct channel (e.g. email) campaigns to ensure we launch impactful marketing communications that drive meaningful growth and help build certainty in our Leads that The Farmerâs Dog is the right choice for them and their dog.   Â
A successful Sr. Acquisition Associate will have strong analytical and data-based decision making skills along with a customer-centric approach to everything they do. Youâll collaborate with teams across the business (especially Retention/Lifecycle, Brand/Creative, Product, and Data Strategy & Insights) to strategize innovative ways to scale and test our direct communications with prospective customers.Â
How You'll Make An Impact- Youâll own all pre-checkout lifecycle communications particularly through email and SMS
- Increase conversion rate of leads via email and other owned channels
- Drive more âorganicâ checkouts to achieve our target CAC and volume goals
- Youâll take full ownership of our abandon cart email series and our ad-hoc email program from Lifecycle Communications
- Youâll implement a learning agenda and roadmap for experimentation (incremental optimizations and big bets)
- Youâll build out effective processes for working with Brand and Design that can scale
- Youâll improve performance of existing email campaigns
- You have 3+ years in growth/acquisition marketing, and at least some experience in email marketing/CRM. Youâre excited to grow your skills in this area.
- You are a phenomenal communicator and appreciate constructive feedback (and know how to effectively give feedback, too!).Â
- You are an analytical thinker. The thought of using data to inform creative development decisions is exciting and intuitive to you. You understand the place for and value of both qualitative and quantitative data.
- Your campaign approach is customer-centric - youâre always thinking both short term (conversion) and long term (retention).
- You have experience running A/B tests. Â
- You are confident balancing and executing on different types of experience - both big bets and incremental improvementsÂ

We support our team members with the flexibility to thrive, professionally and personally. All hybrid team members are asked to be in the office for 2 Gathering Days a week to continue to build a collaborative, lively, and invested environment - a unique in-person culture we are proud of. Gathering Days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, however the office will be open and available for all Monday through Friday.
Vaccination PolicyNYC and Florida: Employees are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 (in accordance with the CDC definition of vaccination) and provide proof thereof in order to work on-site at the New York City and/or Florida offices, unless the employee has an approved exemption (per state/local law) in place prior to the employee's start date.
