We bring passion, sincerity and integrity to every product and service we provide for our customers. Pivot Path Solutions is currently seeking a skilled senior acquisition subject matter expert.
The Senior Acquisition Specialist role influences organizational buying decisions and mentors other team members. As a critical member of the team, the acquisition subject matter expert provides program, performance, strategic-planning, and process subject matter expertise while supporting acquisition oversight, reporting, and enhancement of capabilities in support of our DHA client. The ideal candidate will lead and assist teams across the range of acquisition oversight tasks and be responsible for the quality of delivery services and work products using the DoD’s Adaptive Acquisition Framework. The candidate will work closely with senior management, technical staff, and advisers in achieving client delivery objectives.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Advisory Support:

  • Provide advisory and liaison support to leadership.
  • Enable program success by planning and conducting acquisition and contracting activities throughout the program/project life cycle.
  • Lead acquisition strategy, contract strategy, and associated documentation development.
  • In concert with the Program Office, assist with preparation of RFP documents such as the Statement of Work, CLIN Structure, Screening Information Request, Source Selection Evaluation Plan and Single Source Justifications.
  •  Actively participate in the Source Selection Evaluation process.

Program Life Cycle Management:

  • Facilitate all aspects of program planning and execution.
  • Manage integrated operations, schedule, risk, cost, and performance analysis.
  • Ensure effective program reporting.

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • 3-5 years’ experience supporting and interpreting AAF policies (i.e DoD 5000 series) and associated reporting requirements.
  • Familiarity of the DoD, Military Health System and/or the Defense Health Agency is highly desired.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, public policy or other related fields.
  • 5+ years supporting Federal Government Agencies in the Acquisition Process.
  • Ability to lead fellow team members to support various AAF compliance and reporting efforts.
  • Demonstrated experience working with acquisition project teams and programs for Acquisition Categories 1, 2 and 3.
  • Must have technical writing and effective communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized and self-motivated with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities.
