Job Summary

The Active Directory Engineer III is responsibilities for supporting Exeter Active Directory infrastructure. This role provides application expertise, coordination of defect identification, root cause analysis, and code deployment for identified production issues related to the operational support of multiple large scale customer applications. Additionally, the Active Directory Engineer III will provide support through maintenance, modification, problem resolution, as well as, interface with application support teams for triage of production issues.

Job Duties

Apply knowledge of and demonstrable experience working with Microsoft Identity technologies including Active Directory (DNS, DHCP, DFS, GPO and LDAP), Azure Active Directory, Certificate Services, Federation Services, Single Sign-On, and MFA solutions to complete project based initiatives. Manage the efforts to troubleshoot and solve technical issues, using collaboration, troubleshooting best practices and transparency within and across teams. Architect and implement business continuity plans, recovery and hardening strategies for Active Directory Domain Services environments. Implementing controls to ensure appropriate security, performance, scalability and monitoring guidelines are achieved for the Active Directory environments. Proactive in developing in reporting and automation via Powershell or Microsoft Graph API. Responsible for document changes, processes and procedures, as well as, participate in knowledge transfers.

Education and Experience

Required
College Degree or equivalent experience in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
6+ years of experience in Active Directory server and services management.
2+ years of experience in Azure AD management including Azure AD Connect and AD Federation Services.
2+ years of Powershell scripting.
Directory integration with 3rd Party Applications and hosted services.
Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Excellent time management and prioritizing skills.
Self-motivator able to take tasks or projects and run with them.
Great oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work well and collaborate with other teams of various skills.
Strong analytical skills coupled with technical creativity and vision.
Desired
Experience with administration of Exchange 2013 or higher.
Experience with Okta and other IDPs
Experience with the VMware Platform
One or more industry certifications
