Job Overview:

As a Senior Actuarial Analyst at Safe-Guard you will provide both Reserving and Pricing support to the business. This will include pricing and reserving for a full-suite of automotive warranty products including: Vehicle Service Contract, Guaranteed Asset Protection, Tire/Wheel, Lease-end protection, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

• Use data to understand our business and drive positive outcomes.
• Perform pricing and reserving indications for non-controlled reinsurance entities.
• Communicate results and make recommendations to external parties that own these captives.
• Collaborate with Reserving to periodically evaluate performance of Safe-Guard's own risk.
• Assist the Pricing and Loss Mitigation team on an ad-hoc basis.
• Get involved anytime you can add value, even if it falls outside your job description.

Job Requirements:

• B.S. or higher in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent
• 5+ years of actuarial experience in the P&C industry
• Prior experience in either Pricing or Reserving required.
• Near-ACAS or better
• Experience working in SQL
• Strong communication skills
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check
