Job Description:

The role is responsible for delivering quality actuarial valuation report and analysis for IFRS17 basis. The role will be working on the IFRS17 Reserve, Market sensitivities and discussion with Finance Team for various financial topics.

Responsibilities

• Actuarial Valuation: Manage the actuarial model (Moody's Axis) and Excel to deliver the IFRS17 reserve on a timely and high quality manner with enough analysis to ensure the accuracy.

• Market Sensitivities: Deliver the liability sensitivities under various market shocks and analysis on the results. Discuss the potential management actions to manage the market risks.

• Finance Support: Discuss with Finance team to understand / suggest how to book the financials and to align the understandings of various stakeholders and ensure that complies with IFRS17 Financial Standards

Requirements

• University Graduate in Actuarial Science or related disciplines

• Good progressing in actuarial exams

• 0-5 years of experience in life insurance industry

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills on both English and Chinese

• Proficiency in EXCEL and experience in Moody’s Axis is a plus

• Strong technical knowledge in financial reporting areas, knowledge in IFRS 17 is preferred

• Sound analytical, problem solving skills
