Senior Actuarial Analyst

This position will work on our ACA Pricing team, with the main focus being preparing and submitting rate filings. This will also involve preparing and analyzing monitoring reports, developing forecasts, plus reviewing and updating pricing factors. Additionally, this position will help to evaluate impacts of contracting or benefit changes, and analyze recent experience using statistical programming and database tools to look for opportunities and risks within the pricing blocks.

This position will work closely with our Individual and Commercial segments, partnering in product development as well as evaluating and strengthening our expanding set of ACO provider partnerships across our growing service area.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related, plus progress along the Actuarial exam pathway is preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• ACA and/or healthcare experience is preferred.
• Highly proficient in Excel and experience in SAS or SQL is also preferred.
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to balance several projects and deadlines at once.
