Senior Actuary - REMOTE

POSITION SUMMARY

This role reports to the Senior Manager of Pricing Governance and Analytics and works extensively with the Financial Modeling & Analysis, Underwriting, and Financial Planning & Analysis teams. You will be responsible for performing analyses on Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) underwritten data and determining the financial impact of pricing tool projections. In addition,

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Maintain essential model assumptions and conduct actual-to-expected analysis to support underwriting accuracy.
• Identify trends in underwriting financial performance projections in relation to client actual performance.
• Analyze historical data and market conditions against pricing assumptions.
• Assess risk of pricing strategies and develop informed recommendations for model improvement.
• Empower senior leadership to make meaningful decisions by providing ad hoc reporting and analysis accompanied by proposals for effective solutions when needed.
• Consistently deliver high quality work products amidst time constraints and competing priorities.
• Perform Ad-hoc projects including detailed analysis and ability to articulate findings that meet internal customer requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance.
• FSA Designation preferred.
• 4+ years relevant work experience in financial and actuarial analysis.
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and business skills.
• Proficient in SQL and MS Office.
• Experience with R, Tableau and Alteryx preferred.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 97,400 - 162,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
