Self is hiring an experienced Senior Administrative Assistant to support our executive team. This high-impact role reports to our CEO and is the primary administrative support to leadership. 

Who you are

You are a problem solver who has excellent communication skills, impeccable attention to detail and discretion to handle confidential information. You like being busy and consistently look for opportunities to pitch in if you are not busy.


You have experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative office environment, providing varied administrative and operational support. You are known for your ability to multitask, manage complex schedules, and meet changing deadlines with grace. Your excellent communication skills and follow-through position you as a key partner to your colleagues across the company.  


What you’ll do

  • Provide administrative support to our CEO and executive team, ranging from managing calendars and filing expenses to drafting correspondence, and ensuring the clear flow of communications among team members.
  • Liaise with board members to plan and schedule board meetings - both planned in advance and ad-hoc.  Find creative ways to accommodate very complex schedules.
  • Plan, organize, and schedule meetings in all forms: in the office, off-site, and virtual.
  • Coordinate domestic travel. 
  • Order and oversee office supplies and food deliveries for group meetings.
  • Collaborate with HR team to produce events, schedule interviews, and ensure the office is managed effectively.

What you bring

  • 5+  years proven administrative experience supporting executives
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Aptitude for learning new software and systems
  • Expertise with Google Workspace (gmail, google docs, sheets, etc)

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Experience managing budgets and expenses
  • Experience developing internal processes and filing systems
