Reporting to the Director, Organizational Development NA the Sr. Advisor, Learning & Development Programs will effectively lead and manage the planning, creation and delivery of L&D activities and programs in North America, with an emphasis on manufacturing early talent programs and frontline leader capability building.
This role can be based in Oakbrook, Illinois, Toronto, Ontario and Florenceville, New Brunswick.
How You'll Add Value:

  • Leads development and/or execution of learning & development programs in support of North America and Global L&D strategy
  • Works in partnership with OD/HR and senior leaders across the region to identify key performance, skill & knowledge gaps and inform new talent driven development solutions
  • Provides strategic and operational support for the design, delivery, and ongoing capability development of early talent programs (ie. Production Management Trainee Program), and related tools and resources
  • Designs, project manages and delivers annual Development Week for early talent program participants; building business knowledge, enhancing capability and community
  • Blueprints and facilitates support network for program participants to build relationships and gain exposure to internal stakeholders (including SMEs, mentors, buddies, as appropriate)
  • Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, partners, and providers to enhance buy-in, delivery and success of initiatives, includes but not is limited to HRBPs, functional L&D resources, Early Talent Manager, program sponsors, etc.
  • Creates and documents program components and standard operating procedures in a clear and visually compelling way, highlighting best-practices that can be shared broadly
  • Creates and deploys measurement strategies to ensure effectiveness of initiatives, factoring feedback into program enhancements
  • Works closely with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of new/enhanced programs within existing talent development offerings
  • Manages and/or supports the planning and delivery of global learning priorities within the region


About You:

  • Minimum 5 years of Learning & Development, HR or functional capability experience within a large organization
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business strategies into critical talent development initiatives
  • Successful track record of conceiving and implementing programs related to Leadership development/ early talent / functional rotations
  • Project and change management to handle the development and/or execution of multiple programs on time with excellence
  • Knowledge in adult learning principles and demonstrated instructional design experience
  • Ability to adapt learning content within the Company's Learning Management System and other learning platforms.
  • Strong coordination, organizational and follow-up capabilities when presented with multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver high quality communications, presentations and training materials
  • Expert facilitator capable of consistently and effectively engaging a wide variety of audiences
  • Strong influencing, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Independent and tactical with a proven ability to develop professional relationships and work in a team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, or other HR systems
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for building a learning culture and developing leaders; leads with curiosity and a growth mindset
  • Familiarity with Manufacturing environment
