Job Description

Our industry-recognized Adobe engineering team is on the lookout for individuals who don't just do AEM work but have a drive to be part of the best! We are currently looking for a proactive, collaborative Senior AEM Back-End Developer to lead custom platform development for enterprise-level customers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to solve complex challenges, while working in a distributed environment.


Role and Responsibilities
  • Lead development for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
  • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle and understand the entire software development process from design to development to deployment to maintenance.
  • Actively participate in client meetings, professionally and expertly, tailoring communications to fit your audience.
  • Require minimal supervision, provide oversight for assigned projects, and get things done without being micromanaged.
  • Work fast with an attention to detail within a fast-paced work environment with hard deadlines.
  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Provide constructive feedback in code reviews and help others to become better developers.
  • Prepare and produce releases of software components.
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies.


    • Preferred Qualifications
  • BS/MS degree, bootcamp graduate, or equivalent self-education
  • 5+ years of professional hands-on AEM development experience
  • Built sites using AEM Cloud Service or AEM 6.5
  • Proficiency with AEM, Java, Sling
  • Solid understanding of systems design, caching, and persistence
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and consulting skills
  • Familiarity with modern programming architecture
  • Worked with Agile development, preferably SCRUM, and Unit Testing
