Senior Aerodynamics Engineer

Opportunity: Our client is looking for a Senior Aerodynamics Engineer who will be responsible for conducting aerodynamic analyses to assist in the design, testing, and flight of the hypersonic aircraft.

Required: The candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in aerodynamics analysis, design, and testing.

Requirements

Core responsibilities

• Apply aerodynamics experience and expertise to influence vehicle trades
• Create tools to enable swift design iteration
• Determine when to use appropriate analysis fidelity for varying scenarios
• Assist the vehicle program throughout its lifecycle, from the initial design to flight testing.

Required

• B.S. in mechanical or aerospace engineering
• Minimum 4 years of experience in aerodynamics analysis, design, and test
• Prior professional experience working in a flight vehicle program
• ITAR REQUIREMENTS: To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
