Job Description:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required
Work Experiences:
- 5+ years of related work experience required
Skills:
- Financial and Business : Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable replenishment information to drive results
- Able to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners and influence necessary change while developing the future leaders.
- Process Management: Can identify, build and articulate the processes necessary to get things done efficiently and align resources effectively to complete activities
- Communication: Effective listening, speaking, reading and writing skills
- Influencing & Negotiation: Can present ideas and directions that lead others to action in service of our customer
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills
- Problem Solving & Decision Making: Able to use logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, Access, Oracle RMS, and Lotus Notes (or a comparable email system)
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of Replenishment Analysts by creating a collaborative results oriented environment
- Support the career development and skill development of teams to ensure job satisfaction, retention, and future talent development
- Implement consistent and profitable pre- and in-season replenishment strategies and practices
- Lead teams to maintain adequate inventory level across Academy's channels to drive sales, in stocks, and service customers
- Manage new store process to ensure that new stores open with adequate levels of inventory
- Manage the decision making process around determining which allocation method to use for each style - Oracle vs Replenishment
- Provide effective team management and a change leadership approach in driving continuous improvements and innovation to drive higher predictable results
- Balance workload priorities across departments to ensure successful execution of inventory management
- Foster effective store communication as it pertains to quantity and service levels
- Develop a thorough understanding of Academy policies, procedures, and safety rules
- Duties may change; team member may be required to perform other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements & Attendance
- Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
- Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior
- Ability to work flexible hours such as evening, weekends, and holidays as necessary
