Senior Analyst, 3P Traffic Analytics

This role is ideal for someone who loves working with data, solving complex problems, and making a measurable impact. Analysts are not just a reporting function at EverQuote; they lead cross functional projects and data-driven decision-making, the core of our operational philosophy as we revolutionize how people shop for insurance. 

What you'll do:

As a Senior Analyst on the Third Party (3P) Traffic Analytics team, you will be an integral part of a large and technologically advanced area of the business. We are looking for someone with analytical ability, an interest in understanding complex business and marketplace dynamics, and the enthusiasm to make an impact. We are not looking for someone to generate Excel reports and PowerPoint presentations. We need smart, quantitative people to rip through data and find opportunities that will help us grow.

What you'll do:

• A data-driven analytics leader, responsible for leading and executing analytics initiatives to scale and improve our third party leads, clicks, and calls programs 
• Onboard new partners to the platforms, investigate and resolve deviations in performance, and optimize campaigns in alignment with company goals 
• Identify trends and opportunities in our bidding workflows, data asset management, and operational processes, then bring the changes to life 
• Leverage your technical skills to automate operations, reporting, and modeling ● Collaborate with business development, product, engineering, and data science teams to drive desired outcomes 

Who you are:

• Strong analytical mindset with a degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, related field, OR demonstrated analytical and technical experience 
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong sense of urgency and accountability 
• Proficient in data analysis and with an understanding of statistics; capable of using data to tell a story and drive change 
• Expert in SQL and comfortable with database structures (a must!) 
• You might know a programming language such as Python (a plus!) 
• You are a team player and have the ability and desire to collaborate effectively ● Previous experience in insurance or performance marketing is a plus
