Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Analyst to join our team! In this role you will provide programmatic, technical, and analytical support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Director of Flight Test (DTF). This Systems Analyst will support the Director of Flight Test Management and Execution (DTFF) test team. As part of this team the DTF is responsible for the demonstration of Missile Defense Systems capabilities through system flight-testing. This Analyst will support activities such as planning, analytical reporting and execution of flight test in accordance with the MDA Flight Test Concept of Operations (CONOPS).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, integrate, analyze and coordinate/de-conflict various actions and assets across the Missile Defense System flight test communities in support of mission preparation and execution. This includes supporting the development of data requirements, data collection, data analysis, and data archival.
  • Assist in product development of mission planning, readiness and execution support documentation.
  • Prepare decision-quality materials such as executive level briefings and supporting documentation (white papers, fact sheets, status reports, progress reports, and information papers) for senior level reviews and mission milestone decision meetings.
  • Assist with the development of planning meetings, MDA Phase Reviews, and other meetings, as directed.
  • Supports DTFF by developing, reviewing, and coordinating responses/inputs to numerous MDA and Director of Test (DT) Program Office-generated actions covering a wide range of internal and external topics.
  • Identify, generate, and manage schedules, requirements and other documentation in support of flight test operations.
  • Identify and resolve program and stakeholder scheduling issues.
  • Provide on-site support to System Mission Managers (SMM) at deployed locations for assigned flight test missions.
  • Provide input to weekly test community meetings and working groups to include briefing charts and meeting attendance.
  • Travel is required (35% travel required and may include overseas locations).

Experience Requirements:

  • MA/MS degree with 10+ years of experience required or BA/BS with 15 years of experience required
  • An active Secret security clearance or higher
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills, and have the ability to lead effectively in a dynamic team environment; ability to speak in meetings and to MDA leadership
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in a high tempo work environment
  • Motivated self-starter
  • Proficient with Windows-based PC software (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in flight test planning, missile defense, space launch, or related mission areas is highly desired
  • Active Top Secret clearance

Salary Range:

$98,800.00 - $199,100.00
