National Grid is hiring an Analyst - Contract Management for our Electric Business in Syracuse, NY. This role could also be based in Albany or Buffalo, NY.

Job Purpose

The Analyst's role is to support the Contract Management team and our customers in creating and maintaining work management solutions, reports, and data analysis.

Key Accountabilities

• Locate, analyze and present data from multiple sources. Specifically, data analysis as related to contract execution, financials, and contractor performance.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to identify ways to support their analytical needs.
• Create reports to support business decisions.
• Identify trends and inefficiencies in the data and make recommendations to management for technical contract improvements.
• Master the systems used by the department and be the main POC for internal support. This includes, but not limited to, Microsoft Suite, MS Teams, SharePoint, Unifier (Primavera), P6, Alteryx, and Power BI.
• Storm/Emergency support. Be part of the External Resources team to acquire and manage contractors.

Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven contribution to project and team membership and leadership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a data analysis.
• Highly proficient in Excel, preferably including VBA for Excel.
• Experience in creating reports in Power BI.
• Experience in utilizing Alteryx a plus.
• 1-2 Years in Database Management and complex SQL knowledge.
• Valid driver's license required, limited travel required within the territory.
