The Difference You Will Make:

Airbnb is seeking a Senior Analyst Advanced Analytics Supply Diagnostics to support our VP Supply and their team. This role focuses on generating diagnostic insights related to supply metrics and dimensions using advanced causal modeling to inform strategic decision-making processes. Occupancy quality pricing location type size and capacity and amenities are among the key metrics and dimensions this role will manage. The individual in this role will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data generating insights and delivering recommendations to help improve the quality and profitability of our supply.

A Typical Day:

• Conduct advanced data analysis and causal modeling to extract actionable insights that inform strategic decisions related to supply metrics and dimensions.

• Collaborate closely with the VP Supply and their team providing data-driven insights to support strategic decisions.

• Monitor and analyze key metrics such as occupancy quality pricing along with key dimensions like location type size and capacity amenities.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive metrics and reports to monitor supply performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Strategic Finance Data and Analytical Engineering and Data Science to align strategies and leverage synergies.

• Contribute to the advancement of the Analytics and Data Science disciplines at Airbnb by driving best practices in analytics automating analytical processes and promoting data education across the company.

Your Expertise:

• 4+ years of industry experience with a degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Statistics Econometrics Computer Science Engineering Mathematics Data Science Operations Research).

• Prior experience in advanced analytics or business data science within a marketplace or business strategy setting.

• Deep understanding of data analysis and causal modeling with a specific focus on supply metrics and dimensions.

• Exceptional business acumen strategic thinking skills and the ability to make informed judgments.

• Excellent communication skills adept at engaging with a variety of stakeholders and conveying complex concepts in an accessible manner.

• Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate and influence across functions.

• An agile growth-minded approach demonstrated through a history of driving projects from ideation to impact.

Your Location:

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites as agreed to with your manager.
