Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid work arrangement ~30% in office expectation)
In this role you will:
Our commitment to leveraging strategic analysis to drive the right strategy and executions has taken on greater importance in today’s competitive and shifting market environment. In this role you will operate as a true strategic consultant and trusted advisor. You will conduct deep data analysis leveraging multiple sources of data, distill actionable insights, and work with cross-functional partners to craft solutions to meet the strategic revenue growth goals of multiple J.M. Smucker Co. categories. You will translate data into insights, identify topline/bottom line opportunities through key RGM levers (including but not limited to: Strategic Pricing, Channel PPA (Price Pack Architecture), Mix Management, Trade Optimization, eCommerce and Omnichannel growth strategies etc.), drive accountability from teams other than your own and drive business results.

Serve as strategic consultant to brand and commercial teams on problems that require quantitative and qualitative analysis

Help build strategic thought leadership in Revenue Growth Management

Develop and optimize new Revenue Growth Management approaches utilizing syndicated data, account specific data, JMS financial data, and data visualization.

Help develop multi-year multi-lever brand revenue and profit growth plans

Advise key work-streams, often in collaboration with cross-functional teams (Brand, Consumer & Category, Innovation, Finance, eCommerce, Sales, Legal, Operations, IS), providing and/or managing analytical support as appropriate.

What we are looking for:
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree
-
2+ years of experience in CPG or related industry
-
Demonstrated success in Revenue Growth Management (RGM) or related field
-
Experience leveraging RGM levers (including Price Pack Architecture, Mix Management, Promotion Management, Trade terms, etc) to drive business results
-
Demonstrated capabilities in analyzing data to derive insights and solutions, and presenting data driven insights to all aspects of business to audiences with varying levels of experiences.Â

Solution-oriented thinker with strong project management, communication skills

Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional peers, partners, and customers acting with a consultative, art of the question, seek to understand mindset

A relentless commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Strong business partnering and project management skills
Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role (not required):

Master’s degree

Strategy, RGM, or Supply Chain consulting experience
