Senior Analyst Business Finance & Analytics, CSI

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. Job Summary:

Airbnb has become a global platform that connects travelers and hosts from over 34,000 cities. The main focus of the Central Strategy and Insights - Forecasting team is to accurately forecast Airbnb’s global topline revenue. We strive to build a robust forecast around core KPIs and metrics that will help Airbnb make the best financial decisions going forward. This role will be responsible for partnering with the business on growth, analytics, and strategy within the Homes/Finance organization, and will work closely with members of the finance, operations, and marketing teams. 

We are looking for an individual who is proactive and excited to seek out data-backed solutions for projects related to revenue planning, with a focus on Excel modeling, process improvement, automation of data pipelines, and construction of executive presentations. We’re looking for a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, who can understand drivers that are important to a rapidly growing business and who can effectively communicate complex business insights to senior decision-makers. 

Responsibilities:

• Partner with a cross functional team of Data Scientists, Engineers, and FP&A Analysts to help define the scope, vision, and roadmap of forecasting at Airbnb.
• Provide actionable insights through reporting and analytics. This individual seeks out opportunities to iterate on existing processes to achieve higher measures of accuracy, efficiency, speed, and accessibility.
• Manage the monthly forecast upload process and effectively distribute relevant metrics to our counterparts in other parts of the company. 
• Collaborate and assist a variety of stakeholders who provide inputs and/or consume outputs of the revenue forecast.
• Provide additional support to senior leadership, particularly during quarterly and annual review cycles. 

Skills and experience:

• 2-5 years of experience with increasing responsibility in a large company environment. A background in banking or management consulting is a plus.
• Strong SQL, financial modeling and Excel modeling skills (e.g. pivot tables, macros, charts, functions)
• Familiarity with Oracle environment, Jira, or Anaplan.
• Experience with Keynote and advanced G Suite knowledge 
• Self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and high-growth environment

The starting base pay for this role is between $108,000 and $134,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: education, experience, and skills. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
