What you'll achieve
This role involves collaborating with data scientists and supply chain experts to solve complex business issues through data science models, overseeing the scaling and deployment of algorithms, participating in a data science community to share insights, driving innovation in supply chain through team trials, and developing a personalized growth plan. As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for deploying solutions using data science techniques, working with cross-functional digital teams, building supervised and unsupervised models, conducting data mining and analysis, optimizing code, and implementing deep learning and model deployment techniques. You will be working with Business partners, other data scientists and software engineers in projects that will have a great positive impact our Supply Chain.
You will:
- Work closely with senior data scientists and supply chain domain experts to understand complex business problems and co-create solutions driven by data science models
- See your algorithms get scaled up and deployed, while learning from your mistakes
- Join a community of data scientists in discussing the current state of data science in the industry and sharing lessons learnt from past and ongoing projects
- Identify opportunities to innovate across the supply chain through our team trials
- Craft and execute a personalized development plan with your manager to ensure you will continuously grow as a data scientist, while setting expectations on what role you could progress to in 5-10 years

Essential Requirements
- Experiment, develop, and deploy solutions into production environments using data science, machine learning, and statistical techniques to quantitative problems in a business environment
- Work with cross-functional (i.e. data engineering, software development, and business intelligence) digital solutioning teams integrating data science models into end-to-end solutions
- Build supervised and unsupervised solutions leveraging but not limited to regression, classification, clustering, time series forecasting and NLP techniques
- Carry out open-ended data mining and analysis for medium to large datasets from disparate sources. Query data from structured (SQL, PostgreSQL) and unstructured data stores utilizing advanced scripting techniques including Python and/or R as the primary programming language
- Optimize code for performance, scalability, and readability and the implement deep learning techniques and understanding of data science model deployment techniques in containerized environments like Kubernetes
Desirable Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Statistics, Computational Science, Engineering, Mathematics, and Applied Mathematics, or related field of study plus 2+ years of experience in data analytics, software engineering, or related occupation or, alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computational Science, Engineering, Mathematics, and Applied Mathematics or related field of study and five years of experience in data analytics, software engineering, or related occupation
- Experience must include: querying data from structured (SQL) and unstructured data stores; advanced scripting techniques using Python; optimizing code for performance, scalability, and readability; and using statistics and machine learning
