We are seeking a Senior Analyst Finance to join our team at the Nissan North Americas Headquarters in Franklin, TN.
Job Summary:
Purchasing Cost Control is looking for a detail oriented, driven professional to perform various financial analysis in support of Nissan North America Purchasing. This individual will serve as Purchasing Department budget coordinator, consolidate and distribute monthly non-production purchasing reporting, and support the monthly production parts financial close process to ensure accurate reporting. Ideal candidate will be able to perform quick, complex analysis of data, be able to conduct complex ad-hoc analysis as needed, and manage special projects.

Functions as the budget coordinator for Nissan North America Purchasing. Budgets, reports and forecasts purchasing's annual G&A budget including root cause variance analysis, while working with purchasing client groups to achieve the current budget condition. Cost Analysis: Analyze and track costs related to the monthly close processes. Identify areas of cost improvement and work with cross-functional teams to develop cost-saving strategies. Conduct cost-benefit analysis for proposed projects, investments, or operational changes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, such as Engineering and Purchasing to gather financial data and insights. Provide financial guidance and support to help achieve business objectives. Act as a financial partner in decision-making processes and contribute to cross-functional projects. Processes and tracks expenditure requests, analyzing costs vs. benefits. Processes/approves weekly invoices and prepares inter-company invoices. Processes monthly journal entries and accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting. Prepares and distributes monthly Aftersales reporting to the global Nissan function. Prepares and distributes monthly Raw Material reporting to the global Nissan function. Serves as the liaison to Nissan global purchasing administration for non-production purchasing. Executes, consolidates, and distributes monthly Service & Support Purchasing performance reports for both expense and capital. Leads process improvement projects cross-functionally with finance, IT and Purchasing lineside Works with internal purchasing clients, as well as, cross-functionally with finance, engineering and NNA affiliates. Performs other related duties and ad-hoc reports as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:

Job Knowledge and Skill: Firm understanding of accounting/finance principles; excellent oral/written communication skills; able to work successfully with diverse groups; a self-starter; ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment; strong analytical skills; capable of identifying problems and taking corrective action when necessary.
Experience: Minimum of five years or more experience in a professional accounting / finance role.
Education: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. MBA or CPA preferred.
Computer Skills: Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Strong Tableau and SAP experience.
