The mission of the CCO (Commercial and Customer Operations) is to enable commercial strategy and drive profitable sales growth by shifting our mentality to being more "front office", by exceeding customer needs and improving customer experience in the areas of contracting, sales operations, business analytics and program management/operational excellence.

Purpose:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Customer Insights and Analytics, this department within CCO's analytic team was designed to support the Strategic Customer Group including strategic IDN's, Federal Government, and Health Systems National Accounts. This role is accountable for helping to own the transformation and formation of new customer insights and analytic capabilities within the CCO to identify customer and care setting trends, to highlight customer targeting and performance growth opportunities through analytics, and to provide data-driven recommendations to lead and support business strategies. Additional accountabilities include with the integration of 3rd party information (Commercial claims, CMS ( Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services ), 3rd Party customer and care-setting data) into existing customer sales & product information (dashboards, tools, etc.), develop the structure and portfolio of CCO's entire analytic repository, using predictive analytics and statistical methods to collect insights and recommend potential opportunities to business leaders.

This opportunity is HYBRID to either the Franklin Lakes, NJ or Vernon Hills, IL location.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design the production of self-service tools for internal customers to assess industry and market opportunities and insights.
  • Perform sophisticated and custom analysis/modeling to support innovative approaches to gain additional customer, product, and market insights.
  • Collaborate across BU and US Region leadership teams to understand short term and strategic long-term information needs to quantify opportunity and market trends.
  • Provide accurate/timely data in a usable/automated format to visualize trends relative to our portfolio and customers using internal and external data sources.
  • Develop predictive insights and growth opportunities for key customers by for defining and measuring targeting metrics, driven analyses, price volume growth, and channel trends across the region
  • Leads and participates in key analytic projects as assigned by leadership
  • Use developed analytic tools, predictive analytics, and statistical methods to present insights with businesses leading to profitable growth opportunities
  • Integrate third party data into new analytic tools
  • Expand capabilities around what-if scenario analysis in opportunity identification
  • Strategic Customer Agreement (SCA reporting)

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS required (strong preference for Business Analytics, Statistics, Math, Information Systems, Marketing, Economics, or Finance),
  • Min 5 years of equatable analytics experience.
  • Understanding in data relations, standardization and experience using predictive analytics as it relates to Medical Device Capital and Consumables products and services.
  • Validated experience in implementing new processes/systems and improvement of process efficiency
  • Proficient in Excel, Data Mining tools and BI design, SAP BI, Power BI & Qlikview, including the ability to train, document processes, and help lead change management
  • Highly strategic and analytical problem solver with confirmed business insight. Able to evaluate key business drivers and analytics to assist in development clear strategic recommendations
  • Ability to articulate sophisticated concepts, thought leadership and the business value of solutions in a clear, understandable way
  • Ability to build and empower others outside of team to achieve well communicated expectations
  • Strong communications and analytical experience
  • Experience in third party data integrations
  • Marketing research experience highly desirable
  • Ability to travel up to 15% within the U.S.
