ABOUT THE ROLE
Exciting opportunity to work at Roland Foods. The Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis will report to the Senior Manager of FP&A, and partner with business leaders, as well as with finance and accounting peers across the organization. Responsibilities include budgeting and forecasting, operational finance management and ad-hoc analytical support. Â In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior executives across the company to develop the annual budget/quarterly forecasts as well as creating and maintaining performance reporting and analyses. As we operate with a smaller company mindset, we will be reliant on your technical skill, but also your passion and ownership over all aspects of your work.
As a response to the pandemic, Roland Foods office employees have transitioned to a hybrid working schedule, requiring employees to report in-person Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to telework on Monday and Friday each week. Due to the collaborative, cross-functional nature of the organization, employees at the NY and NJ offices are required to work in-person for the abovementioned days, outside of any People & Culture-approved disability accommodation request.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the development of capital and operating expense forecasts and budgets. Work closely with team members and cross functional business partners to develop the annual budget and quarterly forecasts
- Financial Analysis and Management Reporting: Lead the preparation of high-quality financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for the Executive Leadership team, delivered in a timely manner with meaningful analysis, to enable discussion of monthly results and key financial topics
- Special Projects / Ad-hoc Support / Analysis: Execute high-quality and timely analysis for Executive Leadership team as well as other functional areas. Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports. Projects can include liquidity analysis, capital structure changes, ROI analysis, investor presentations, M&A due diligence, working capital analysis, strategic planning
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of progressive experience in Finance
- Critical thinking, self-starter who embraces change and can lead innovation in financial reporting and modeling
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and work well under tight deadlines
Preferred
- Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint & Tableau
- Good understanding of accounting principles and their application
- Strong communicator and a great teammate
- Accuracy and attention to detail

SALARY RANGE
Roland Foods hires exceptional people to perform a wide variety of important functions that contribute to the success of the Company. One of the ways Roland Foods does that is through a competitive compensation package. The base salary for this role will be $85,000 - $100,000.
This role is bonus eligible.
Based on your qualifications, previous experience, and transferrable skills, the Company will determine at its sole discretion the salary offered.
