The Role: Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting
The Financial Reporting team is looking for a senior analyst to help support Slalom's rapid growth and global expansion. The financial reporting function is in a period of transformation (as we implement Oracle) and this job will play a key role in building a best in class reporting function. This person will be responsible for preparing monthly operational and financial reporting, responding to ad hoc reporting requests, supporting maintenance of financial reporting systems, supporting financial data governance and act as a financial business partner to leaders across Slalom. The ideal candidate is independently driven and detail oriented, has the ability to take ownership of processes and drive improvements, is an expert at capturing data from various sources and combining to produce complete and accurate reporting, has the ability to assess a reporting request and make recommendations based on desired outcomes, and is confident working both independently and collaboratively, depending on the task and situation.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual financial and operational reporting, much of which is currently in Oracle and Excel.
- Respond to ad hoc reporting requests.
- Develop operational reporting solutions by understanding requirements and leveraging tools and data.
- Support maintenance of financial reporting systems (Oracle).
- Support financial data governance, including creation and maintenance of metric definitions and calculations as well as financial metric or report certification and more.
- Be a financial business partner, supporting via insights and analysis of monthly or project financials.
- Handle special projects as identified.
- Liaison between a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders, including functional accountants, business leaders, technical teams and other stakeholders.
- Drive continuous process improvement, including working cross-functionally, to create repeatable, consistent best practices that enable scale.
- Create process and workflow documentation.
- Bachelor's degree required, Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel; experience with Power Query a plus.
- Experience with financial data governance a plus.
- Experience working with financial or business systems and the underlying data platforms (Oracle, Workday, Power BI, Power Query, SQL, Snowflake, etc.)
- Experience with Oracle EPM or Oracle Fusion ERP a plus. Knowledge of financial accounting processes and concepts.
- Experience working with Chart of Accounts and organizational structures.
- Strong functional and technical acumen.
- Experience in process improvement, including development of technical solutions that improve the way we work.
