Job Title: Senior Analyst, PMO Financials and IS Procurement
Job Location: Hershey, PA
This position is open to 100% remote.
Summary:
The Sr Analyst, PMO Financials & Procurement will support the Manager, PMO Financials & Procurement in day-to-day procurement/financial processes PMO led projects & IS initiatives.
The Sr Analyst, PMO Financials & Procurement will be the primary point of contact and have responsibility for all IS requisition requests, invoicing, vendor management and PO lifecycle for the PMO and IS. The role will conduct research into issues, delays or gaps in the procurement process for the IS PMO. They will be the key subject matter expert in the process the PMO and IS use to buy products and services for projects and IS operations.
They will contribute to the month end procurement and forecasting processes in the PMO, doing basic analysis on the portfolios position. Additionally, the role will manage any key PO/ Global Procurement needs required that are escalated from PM's within the teams on more challenging procurement issues. Assists and reports on projects staying on track with regards to monthly forecasting, project budgets and schedules.
The Sr Analyst, PMO Financials & Procurement, under the direction of the Manager, PMO Portfolio Financials and IS Procurement will review financial processes for the PMO and make suggestions for continuous improvement. They will work to identify and educate on PMO procurement and vendor management practices relating to PMO projects.
The role will conduct and coordinate other PMO and IS financial related duties under the direction of the Manager, PMO Financials & Procurement.
Major Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform procurement and invoicing process for project managers and other IS requestors.
• Reconcile contract labor invoices for month end.
• Partner with Procurement, Contracting, PMO, Asset Management, Capital Admin, and A/P to fulfil the procurement and invoice process timely
• Support financial reconciliation, contracting, vendor management in project life cycle.
• Support PMO Portfolio Managers and PMs within the Clarity tool related to forecasting, budget varainces, schedules, invoice and PO reconciliation.
• Perform role in IS asset management process reconciling with project managers to recognize change in asset status in Hershey systems.
• Support Mgr Portfolio Financials in the monthly closing process
• Assist with monthly project forecasting
• Proactive with project management team in training and knowledge around Procurement and Invoicing Process to ensure understanding and compliance.
• Educate PMO on procurement standards and issues
• Identify areas of continuous improvement; work with Mgr Portfolio Financials, PMO COE, PMs,Port Mgrs and IS to document and implement.
• Collaborate with other members of the PMO Center of Excellence, to communicate and inform PMO and IS in Project Procurement within the PMO Tools, Teams channels and other mediums.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:

• Foundational industry knowledge of financials and procurement practices, Capital and Operational expense management and basic GAAP Standards.
• Functional skills related to procurement; IT purchasing/buying experience a plus.
• Experience with global procurement, a plus.
• Proficient in MS Excel, including pivot tables.
• Familarity with corporate ERP system; SAP AP or Purchasing experience a plus.
• Basic presentation skills in PowerPoint with use of tables and charts
• Familiarity with Project Management processes, especially financial management, procurement, and forecasting a plus.
• Excellent time management and organization skills to successfully complete work on tight monthly schedule.
• Excellent communicator able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Education:

• Associates degree in business or accounting preferred.

Experience:

• 2+ years experience in procurement or purchasing experience
• 1+ years experience in A/P
