The Position

Arevon is recruiting for the position of Senior Analyst, FP&A, an outstanding opportunity for individuals seeking an exciting, high-growth work environment in one of the most important industries for the 21st century. Reporting to the Senior Manager of FP&A, the Senior Analyst, FP&A will perform a wide range of financial duties as part of the team and autonomously within the FP&A team. This role will fall under the Consolidated FP&A subgroup. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serve as a strategic finance partner to internal department leads. Develop and improve reporting to enable department leads to manage their budgets and headcounts
  • Own, maintain, and improve the company’s existing labor and overhead models
  • Participate in the annual budgeting process as well as drive monthly and quarterly forecasting including opex, capex, and headcount planning
  • Participate in the company’s long-term strategic planning initiatives, which will require dynamic modeling of the company’s G&A/overhead expenses to plan for different strategic scenarios
  • Continuously explore enhancements and automation across our portfolio of reports and dashboards
  • Collaborate with corporate accounting and HR on process and system improvement projects contributing to the company’s growth and scalability
  • Prepare and present Executive Team and Board materials with clear insights and actionable recommendations
  • Support work and analyses related to the Consolidated Company Model used for forecasting and reporting
  • Perform ad hoc analyses as needed

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • CPA license desired but not required

Experience Requirements

  • At least five years of relevant work experience, preferably in FP&A
  • Proven financial modeling and analysis skills using Excel
  • Experience working with confidential payroll data and managing labor/overhead models highly desired
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required as this role will interface with Executive Team and department leads
  • Ability to work autonomously with little supervision while continuously ensuring alignment of objectives
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP
  • Proven cross functional collaboration skills
  • Comfortable operating at various organizational levels, balancing strategic vision with meticulous financial management
  • Proficient in MS Powerpoint
  • Experience using PowerBI or Netsuite a plus
