Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Managing Data Dashboards

• Develop reports, dashboards, and advanced visualizations using Power BI / Tableau. Works closely with the product managers, business analysts, clients etc. to understand the needs / requirements and develop visualizations needed.

• Provide support to existing dashboards while recommending best practices and leading projects to implement new functionality.

• Learn and develop new visualization techniques as required to keep up with the contemporary visualization design and presentation .

Functional Data Support

• Reviews the solution requirements with the functional areas and architecture to ensure selection of appropriate technology , efficient use of resources and integration of multiple systems and technology.

• Collaborate in design reviews and code reviews to ensure standards are met. Recommend new standards for visualizations .

Build Data Dashboards

• Use Power Query for data transformation and manipulation.

• Write advanced DAX formulas for complex business calculations.

• Implement dimensional modelling (star schema) for efficient data organization.

• Manage semantic models' data refreshes.

• Implement Power BI Row Level Security (RLS) to provide data access based on user roles.

• Create and manage dataflows to automate data updates. Write SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.

Strategic Support

• Advising on new technology trends and possible adoption to maintain competitive advantage

Training and Development:

• Provide training and support to employees on process improvement tools and techniques.

• Mentor and guide junior analysts and team members on data methodologies.

Stakeholder Management:

• Support presentations to Customers and Partners

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and initiatives.

• Gather and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine and enhance improvement efforts.
