Job Summary

Senior Analyst, Global Risk Management

Responsible for collecting, evaluating, and analyzing underwriting submissions for global casualty, production, and E&O/Cyber insurance placements and assists with day-to-day functions related to each program. Performs essential risk management and insurance functions in support of insurance programs, acting as an internal resource for key stakeholders throughout the organization. Performs essential finance and accounting functions to support Global Risk Management and insurance programs and assure that premium costs are properly booked and allocated. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintains and continuously develops in depth technical knowledge of various insurance coverages including global casualty, professional and cyber liability.
  • Effectively documents and consistently applies risk management procedures. Ensures operational consistency and provides insurance guidance to business groups worldwide.
  • Reviews and addresses certificate of insurance requests and inquiries from internal and external clients
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for external government agencies to address criticism letters and other state inquiries in a timely manner to avoid penalties
  • Processes all non-recurrent invoices, including annual premium invoices for all placements and ensure proper allocation of costs to applicable divisions of the Company
  • Partners closely with Corporate Finance, Accounts Payable, TPA billing contacts, brokers, risk management information systems (RMIS) and vendor contacts to address inquiries related to insurance programs.
  • Prepares required reporting for state agencies in monopolistic and self-insurance states.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
