Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Healthcare Analytics to join our growing Health Economics & Analytics team. This position will provide data driven financial, clinical and operational insights to tangibly impact our business. To do so, you will leverage Medical & Pharmacy claims data, plus internal program data, to support a variety of customers. You will help us learn about the financial and clinical benefits of our Program - including the magnitude and timing of our impact and where it’s achieved. You will be instrumental in ROI modeling for prospective buyers and impact analyses for existing customers. You will perform cohort studies to inform our Pricing, value proposition, and Program operations. Additional areas of focus may include the development and maintenance of client-facing Clinical & Financial Reporting and Tools and support of various initiatives with our Clinical, Marketing, and Enrollment teams. Within these areas you will help explain performance, identify opportunities for improvement, develop initiatives and measure results. You will play a key role in determining, executing on, and measuring the success of Twin’s global financial and operating strategy as we scale rapidly in the US and abroad.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve ROI models - ensuring accuracy and routinely improving functionality and efficiency
- Support and eventually lead ROI projection efforts for prospective buyers - collaborating with teammates and Business Development leadership
- Quantify financial savings and clinical outcomes of Twin’s products and services using best-practice analytic & statistical methods to inform Pricing and client ROI
- Refine client value proposition and corresponding collateral as it relates to Medical and Pharmacy expense reduction as well as Clinical outcomes
- Partner with Data Intelligence to build and execute against data warehousing strategy, with a particular focus on staging of medical and pharmacy claims; integration with clinical and administrative data assets; and development of reference tables and standard definitions
- Partner with key stakeholders and teammates to execute against roadmap of Analytics deliverables across key domain areas including:
- Partner Reporting: developing standard client-facing reports and fulfilling ad hoc deliverables for key accounts
- Clinical care & quality: work with coach and provider teams to measure and drive treatment effectiveness, identify and address quality improvement opportunities, and help develop strategic programs to deliver improved value-based care in performance-based programs
- Member lifecycle engagement: partner with key internal teams to analyze and improve conversion funnel performance as well as post-conversion utilization and retention
- Marketing strategy and execution: assist our global marketing function in how they will measure success and allocate resources to their efforts generating the highest return
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of healthcare analytics experience at a health plan, provider group, consulting firm, or related healthcare vendor/entity
- Undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics/Actuarial Services, Biostatistics, or equivalent concentration
- Experience representing your team in cross-functional work streams - maintaining and executing against shared project plans
- Technical qualifications
- Deep understanding of Medical and/or Pharmacy claims data
- Proficient with SQL/SAS to extract, summarize, and analyze large data sets
- Excel expert
- Experience with data intelligence software such as Tableau or PowerBI is a plus
- Key skill qualifications
- Extract and transform datasets and synthesize insights into key findings
- Understanding of Medical Economic concepts and ability to calculate customary measures including PMPM, utilization per 1,000 and unit costs
- Proven ability to inherit processes / tasks and improve their efficiency and quality
- Strong critical thinking and active listening skills to infer business needs, grasp underlying context, and translate goals to effective solutions
- Ability to synthesize insights and communicate in a clear & concise manner
- Extremely detail oriented and focused on ensuring accuracy in your deliverables
- Strong communication skills and business acumen, effectively managing multiple stakeholders (and their expectations) and translating for a range of audiences
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize work assignments

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $90,000-$115,000 annually.
