About the Job

As a Senior Analyst on the Research and Client Services team, you will evaluate research and data on behalf of our client’s acquisitions and collateral. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with client services and marketing teams representing multi-billion-dollar real estate portfolios. As the central point of contact for managing client inquiries, the Senior Analyst will have wide-reaching exposure both internally and externally.

Successful candidates will be committed to producing excellent work product while having the highest standards of client service. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys technical writing and commercial real estate analysis. They will be highly adaptable, detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the writing and editing process of current and new collateral
• Manage ad-hoc and routine client research and informational requests, including real estate strategy inquiries, recurring report distribution, add-on contribution requests, etc.
• Provide research for the real estate team, including but not limited to brochure charts, investor and competitor analyses
• Liaise with appropriate stakeholders to provide timely responses to client inquiries, as necessary
• Review, track and maintain sensitive documents
• Coordinate information requests and approvals related to compliance, tax, and legal solicitations
• Evaluate existing processes and procedures; make recommendations to improve accuracy and efficiency

Qualifications

BWAM seeks to hire entrepreneurial individuals who are highly motivated, team-oriented, and intellectually curious, with demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. The successful candidate should have:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Strong written communication and presentation skills
• Superior organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe InDesign
• Prior exposure to real estate debt and equity markets preferred
• Able to analyze large sets of data and provide quick takeaways
• Bachelor’s degree required

Base Salary: $100,000 - $110,000

• Asset-level analytics: Providing quantitative and qualitative investment- and portfolio-level performance reports by consolidating and analyzing monthly operating reports produced by operating partners to track and monitor performance against initial underwriting;
• Active Asset Management Support: The team works closely with Acquisition Teams to help monitor all strategic and joint-venture operating partners on a day-to-day basis. Responsibilities include weekly leasing calls, monthly operations reviews, annual budget and business plan reviews and financial analysis; and
• Investment- and Fund-level Reforecasting: BWAM is responsible for creating proprietary investment-level valuation models for the portfolio to enhance our ability to reforecast investment-and fund-level performance on a routine basis.
