Senior Analyst (Market Access Analytic Consulting)

PRECISIONadvisors Commercial Analytics Solutions (CAS) group operates within Precision Value & Health. The team’s mission is to empower US Market Access strategies of Biopharmaceutical companies to achieve optimal promotional effectiveness. We do this with data-driven solutions that uniquely harness unlimited access to a 300M+ patient claims data set that we leverage with PRECISION decision support tools that have demonstrated greater prediction accuracy than other consultancies. 

The Senior Analyst is responsible for translating business questions into analytical approaches and helping to craft analytic findings into stories for client consumption and internal use. Use of programming and analytic skills to query databases and analyze data sets.

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

• Routinely querying relational databases with minimal outside guidance regardless of complexity, adding advanced functionality to coding skills
• Design univariate analyses to answer business questions using knowledge of data sources, QC and QA own results and help guide analysts
• Quantitative slide preparation + storytelling
• Convey appropriate data and data usage parameters to opportunity leads and project team

Qualifications:

Minimum Required:

• Bachelor’s degree with quantitative or life science focus
• Relevant experience with SQL in a structured environment + self-directing analyses + presenting findings to audience - 1 year work + adv degree or 2 years work + Bachelor’s

Preferred:

• Advanced degree with quantitative or life science focus
• Experience in at least one of the following areas: MS Office Suite (advanced Excel & PowerPoint including VBA), AWS, Tableau, pharmaceutical claims data
• Experience in building presentations and analytic story crafting
• Presentation and communication skills

• Analytic and strategic thinking, ability to turn quantitative evidence into practical solutions
