Job Description

The Sr. Analyst, Product Management is a critical role in the NCQA Product lifecycle. The qualified candidate will be will collaborate with a team of Technical, Non-Technical and Clinical staff to provide Product Strategy, Product Development, and Lifecycle Management to various NCQA global projects and programs. The incumbent will work closely with the Chief Product Officer (CPO), VP of Product Development, PM Director and other corporate stakeholders and partners (internal and external) to analyze market data, evaluate program performance, and develop program strategies.

Primary Responsibilities

Influence Program Definition, Strategy, and Management - The qualified candidate will join teams responsible for the success of programs to the organization by providing market analysis, research, and voice of the customer input. They will also coordinate cross-functional expertise to inform and make decisions about programs. Detailed tasks include:

  • Analyzing market data, trends, and behaviors
  • Evaluating programs performance
  • Providing recommendations on program strategies
  • Synthesizing data and background information
  • Generating reports and presentations on results findings
  • Monitoring programs performance

Execute various parts of the product lifecycle from front-end to launch for existing and new evaluation programs and services. - The qualified candidate will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to conduct research and carry out activities to identify and develop new program and enhancements for existing programs. They will leverage Agile techniques to complete these tasks. Examples of activities include:

  • Gathering voice of customer (VOC)
  • Product Design
  • Operationalization (e.g. business process, systems development, training) & Testing (e.g. beta testing)
  • Product Management (workplans, cross-functional activity coordination, co-manage portfolio workstreams with AD or Director, facilitate external customer reviews)

Go-To-Market Strategy - The qualified candidate will integrate inputs from multiple internal and external sources to contribute to developing and maintaining strong strategy and value propositions for growth and customer/partner satisfaction. Key tasks include:

  • Market Insights and Competitive Assessment
  • Value Proposition
  • Segments and Targets
  • Messaging
  • Pricing Model / Pricing Strategy - support company-wide repricing, conduct background research, develop pricing tools, provide quantitative analysis.
