ColdQuanta is looking for a Senior Analyst-Program / Finance to support our expanding government contracting business both with USG and internationally.

Reporting to the head of FP&A, this is a key position to support our Program Managers with government contracting cost, revenue and billing information, forecast models and ad hoc analysis.

Our ideal candidate has extensive experience in financial analysis, including advanced Excel skills. This position works closely with Project Managers, Contracts, Finance, and Accounting departments.

This position will have complete ownership of the entire project finance cycle, including forecasting of revenue and costs, variance analysis/investigation, and preparation of financial information to support billing.

Will build detailed models in MS Excel from the ground up to support accurate forecasting and timely reporting including presenting at Program Review meetings to senior leadership.

Attends and participates in project kick-off meetings and participates in proper contract set up and execution including billing models that support operational accounting functions.

Provides support for new bids and proposals.

Prepares and analyzes cost burden rates in connection with contract requirements.

Assists with audit schedules for external auditors as needed.

Participates in other areas of the financial planning process as needed.

Requirements

• 4-5 years minimum experience in the following areas
• Minimum of a Bachelor's in Finance or Similar Background
• Must be deadline driven, fast paced, organized and detail oriented.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software, and has the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Familiarity with advanced formulas and tables in MS Excel
• General working knowledge of GAAP accounting
• Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports
• Ability to accurately process numerical data
• Problem-solving attitude and works independently.
