Job Description Summary

As a Senior Analyst, you are responsible for assisting the execution of marketing strategies. You'll need the ability to coordinate various marketing tactics for execution and work with internal teams and external vendors to achieve business results.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development and execution of plans that ensure long term sustainable growth of the business. Synthesizes data and uses this understanding to help support identification and innovation of business building solutions.
  • Assists with implementation of digital and traditional marketing tactics and media, including creative development process, planning, and execution.
  • Collaborates and assists others on team on creative development and provides specific feedback on look and feel.
  • Assists team by using customer insights and analytics and tools to understand and forecast market, competitor and customer needs and behavior, to help team define appropriate target audiences, evaluate sufficiency, and help effectively get results with data-based decisions.
  • Under supervision, ensures timelines are met to keep programs on schedule.
May perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Reporting Relationship: Reports to Manager/Director. This is an individual contributor role.

Typical Skills and Experience:

Education: Undergraduate studies in marketing, communications, journalism, advertising or related field preferred.

Experience: Typically, three or more years of related professional experience in the marketing, research or development; experience with life/health/annuity, property/casualty insurance or financial services products a plus.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Demonstrated understanding of basic marketing practices and procedures. Knowledge of two more marketing fields such as database management, research, marketing campaigns. Prefer familiarity with applicable products/distribution systems. Insurance and/or financial services products and terminology a plus. Command of all skills necessary for verbal and written communications to explain complicated analyses and quantified information. Proven ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and external factors. Ability to set work priorities that conform to established objectives, time frames and accomplish a task in the most effective manner. Validated ability to lead projects and define administrative methods and procedures to attain office objectives.

Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.

Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring manager's leader and HR Business Partner.

Job Conditions:

Overtime Eligibility: Exempt (Not eligible)

Working Conditions: Normal office environment. Extended work hours may be necessary during work periods of heavier volume of work. Travel required as necessary.
